Traditionally labels are printed using a flexographic press which requires film, plates and substantial setup time. With the latest advancements in digital printing technology Canada Labels can now offer digital printed labels. For full colour labels, digital printing results in substantial cost savings for orders of 1,000 up to 10,000 labels. Digital printed labels are available on the same substrates, adhesives and finishes as regular flexographic printed labels. Another advantage of digital printing is the possiblity of variable imaging. With variable imaging each label can contain different information such as barcodes, consecutive numbering, names and addresses or even colour images.
